Another fun day at the lake. Got hot fast, was out of there by 10. Few less fish than last time but still a few quality bites. Got to thank David, and the crew at Century Marine for letting use the Caracal they have available for sale. If anyone is looking at a new boat they have a few gorgeous ones in stock.
Got to fish the JML Championship at Roosevelt Lake last weekend. For the first time ever, I severely messed up during weigh-in. I did something different and had the fish in a breathable bag waiting in line for the drive through weigh-in line and somehow didn't have it secured under the lid and one of our fish somehow managed to get out before switching to the normal bag. We thought the weight seemed low but trusted it as we weren't the ones to bring fish to scale. Sure enough we get back to the room to find out one was still in the livewell. It cost us over 2lbs and I will never make that mistake again. Thankfully my partner helped me shake it off and we had a great day two, little over 12lbs, and took a check, and that screw up didn't cost us any other money, just places. It was a fun season, thanks again Lyle for running a great circuit!
Glad they finally opened the lakes this weekend, got to take out the Bass Cat Jaguar from Century Marine. Had such an amazing day, finally broke the 30lb limit mark! Best 5 went just over 31lbs, including a 10.22 beast!! These fish are healthy and insanely strong, will be a day I won't soon forget.
Stopped in for some coffee and got to show how easy it is to social distance on the new Bass Cat Jaguar.
Got to run the Jaguar out at Roosevelt earlier today, this boat is a beast. Super wide, handled like a much smaller boat, and rode like a Cadillac. The Mercury 300 definitely has plenty to push this boat, couldn't imagine it with the 450R. Caught some fish and got to see the lake, love seeing Rosey almost 100%! Hope everyone had a great Sunday.

Got to do a customer post sale demo today in the 2020 Eyra/Pro XS combo. Was fairly windy but the boat handled it well and it is definitely fun. Customer loves it and I do as well, first time in the Eyra with the new 4-stroke. Can't wait to order my own here soon.
